We are at Brainerd International Raceway and have just completed our first practice session, finishing in P2.
We encountered some challenges with other riders trying to follow and slowing down Matthew, which prevented us from getting a clean lap. Despite this, Matthew could have gone much faster if it weren't for the slower riders.
During this session, we didn't make many adjustments to the bike, focusing primarily on monitoring the tires. Matthew managed to set his best lap time of one minute thirty-seven seconds point four while running a race distance. In the six laps leading up to his best time, he was patient, waiting for the opportunity to shake off the riders who were slowing him down. We will look at the data and be ready for Q1.
